Logan & Geneva
Adoption means the world to us! It is how we became parents, and how we will continue to grow our family. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. If you so choose, we will receive your child into a loving home, encouraging them to grow in confidence that they are loved and cared for by many. Throughout this trying time for you, know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Our Children

Micah and Elena are the heartbeat of our family, and it has been such a joy to watch them grow, both individually and together. Micah is Hispanic and was born in Los Angeles, CA. We loved him from the moment we matched with his birth mom, and that love continues to grow every day as we watch him learn, explore, and become his own person. He is bold and boisterous, full of energy and curiosity, and at the same time incredibly caring and thoughtful. He brings so much joy and laughter into our home.
Elena was adopted in Loveland, Colorado, two years after we adopted Micah, and she has added a beautiful new dynamic to our family. She is spunky, creative, and independent, and she loves finding ways to make us all laugh. She has a playful spirit and a determination that shines in everything she does.
One of our greatest joys is watching their relationship grow. They love playing together, making each other laugh, and learning from one another. We are so excited to see Micah and Elena step into the role of big siblings and to watch their bond grow even stronger as we welcome another baby into our family. We feel incredibly grateful to be their parents and can’t wait to continue growing our family with another child to love and support.
Education We will Provide
Education is very important to our family, and we are committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment for each of our children. We are fortunate to live in a strong public school district that values both academic excellence and diversity across race and socioeconomic backgrounds. We believe this kind of environment helps children grow not only academically, but also in empathy, understanding, and respect for others. While we value public education, we also recognize that every child learns differently. We are open to a variety of educational approaches and will always prioritize what best supports each child’s individual needs, strengths, and interests. Education has always been a meaningful part of our lives. Geneva’s mom, along with several other family members, are educators, which has instilled in us a deep appreciation for both the role of schools and the importance of learning at home. We aim to create a home environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Reading is a daily part of our routine, and we look forward to continuing to support our children’s growth both inside and outside the classroom.
Our Passions

We love to take trips and have a passion for travel, especially because of the memories and relationships it helps create. Some of our favorite experiences have been enjoying pasta in Italy, exploring the snowy mountains of Colorado, and spending time together anywhere we can find a beach. It’s the simple moments that mean the most to us, like watching Micah and Elena experience the joy of feeling the sand in their toes at the beach.
For the last 10 years, we have taken an annual ski trip with a group of close friends who feel like family. Everyone finds a way to pitch in, whether it’s making breakfast, going for one more ski run, or cooking a “Family Dinner” followed by game night. These trips have created traditions and friendships we deeply value. We also cherish traveling with our extended family. Logan’s Grandpa, a Korean War Veteran, invited the family on a special trip to South Korea—an unforgettable experience! Each summer, we spend a week with Geneva’s family at a lake house in Michigan, playing games and enjoying time on the water. We believe travel is one of the best ways to slow down, connect, and create lasting memories, and we look forward to sharing these experiences as our family continues to grow. We can’t wait to experience the world through another child’s eyes.

Our Extended Families

Logan is the oldest of three, and Geneva has a younger sister who is married with four children. Spending time with Micah, Elena, and their cousins—playing, laughing, and growing up together—is one of the greatest joys in our lives. Watching those relationships form and deepen is something we truly cherish. The 4th of July is a highlight of the year—Family, Fireworks, and Fun! We love hosting at our home and welcoming Geneva’s sister and her family for a full weekend together. Our neighborhood is full of activity, from time at the pool to a festive golf cart parade. At dusk, family and friends gather with blankets and chairs as the kids play and the sky fills with fireworks. We look forward to creating these memories each year. Fantasy Football Championships at Thanksgiving and Secret Santa at Christmas bring our extended family together for the holidays. These traditions are filled with laughter, friendly competition, and meaningful time spent reconnecting. Spring Break with Logan’s family in Florida is another special tradition, with slow mornings swimming, afternoons at the beach, and evenings spent playing games and doing puzzles. These moments allow us to slow down and be fully present with one another, creating lasting memories and deepening the bond we share as a family.

Our House and Neighborhood

We love our warm and inviting home in Missouri. With five bedrooms and welcoming gathering spaces, there is plenty of room for kids to play, learn, and grow, and for family and friends to come together. We look forward to filling our home with more birthday celebrations, holidays, and the everyday moments that make childhood so special.

We live in a suburban neighborhood just 15 minutes from downtown, which gives us the best of both worlds. We enjoy exploring places like Union Station, the Science Center, Legoland, local parks, and family-friendly events. It is a treat always finding new ways to learn, play, and spend time together.
What drew us most to our neighborhood is its strong sense of community and diversity. Evenings are filled with kids playing outside, neighbors connecting, and families gathering at the pool. We love taking family walks where Micah and Elena, and our puppy Koa, greet every neighbor along the way. You’ll often find us outside with chalk drawings covering the driveway or riding bikes together as a family. And on Friday nights, we’re usually snuggled up in the basement for a cozy movie night. Our hope is that every child in our home feels safe, celebrated, and deeply loved.
From Us to You

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family. We know this is a deeply personal decision, and we are honored that you are considering adoption as part of your child's story. While we cannot fully understand the emotions you may be experiencing, we want you to know that we approach this journey with gratitude, humility, and respect.
We have been together for 16 years and married for 13. After experiencing infertility, we found our path to parenthood through adoption. Looking back, we can honestly say that adoption has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. It has shaped us as individuals, strengthened our marriage, and brought us the incredible joy of becoming parents.
Through adoption, we welcomed our son Micah and, two years later, our daughter Elena. They are the heart of our family and the source of so much joy, growth, and laughter. Micah is Hispanic and was born in Los Angeles, California. He is bold, energetic, curious, and incredibly thoughtful. He has never met a stranger and brings enthusiasm to everything he does. Elena joined our family through adoption in Loveland, Colorado. She is funny, creative, independent, and determined. She loves finding ways to keep up with—and occasionally outdo—her big brother. One of our favorite things is watching their sibling relationship grow as they learn from each other, cheer each other on, and fill our home with laughter.
As parents, we have learned that the greatest moments are often the simplest ones—reading books before bed, family bike rides through the neighborhood, movie nights in the basement, chalk-covered driveways, and conversations around the dinner table. These are the moments that make a family and the memories we treasure most. We are committed to honoring each of our children's stories and helping them understand how deeply loved they are. Adoption is something we talk about openly and positively in our home. We believe every child deserves to know their story, celebrate who they are, and feel proud of where they come from. We also believe in honoring the important role birth families play in that story. We are grateful for the trust birth families place in adoptive families, and we never take that responsibility for granted.
We also deeply value cultural diversity. As a transracial family, we are intentional about surrounding ourselves with a diverse community and exposing our children to different cultures, experiences, and perspectives. We want our children to feel seen, represented, and celebrated. We are committed to continuing to learn and grow so that we can best support each child's unique identity and background.
We are fortunate to be surrounded by loving family and friends who have embraced adoption alongside us. Our children are growing up with supportive grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, teachers, and friends who celebrate them for exactly who they are.
As we look ahead, we are excited about the possibility of welcoming another child into our family. We can already picture Micah and Elena stepping into the role of big brother and big sister, eager to help, play, teach, and love. More than anything, we hope to provide a home where every child feels safe, supported, celebrated, and deeply loved.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. Whatever path you choose, we admire the love and courage that brought you here. We are happy to engage with you on an on-going basis via email, a private instagram account, as well as in-person visits. If you decide that we are the right family for your child, we promise to cherish that gift every day and to raise them with love, respect, and gratitude.
With Love and Respect,
Logan & Geneva
